Ecology

In the ecological sense and as a generalisation, Italian are many, many years behind their counterparts in the rest of Europe, and in fact most other parts of the world. Generally, what they do / have done to their environment is just plain unacceptable to most ecologically aware people. Astounding really as in many ways they are extremely sensitive and considerate of their immediate environment, it simply does not extend outdoors.
